Metro Atlanta youth pitch business Shark Tank style

with No Comments

Over the past eight weeks, youth from Metro Atlanta have spent their summer developing their own business in Building Young Entrepreneurs summer program. This Friday evening, the students will pitch their businesses at Shark Bait – the end of the summer event inspired by the hit show, Shark Tank.

The students will present businesses ranging from an online tutoring website to a tailgating set-up service in hopes they can convince “the sharks” (the audience) to contribute to their crowdfunding campaigns. The audience will have the opportunity to ask the students questions. If they would like to invest, they can do so on the spot through from their smartphone or on-site kiosks. Those who cannot attend can still contribute to the students through BuildingYoungEntrepreneurs.com.

Special guest include the East Point Main Street Association.
